Part of the 12th season of Movement Artisans - Dance as a Research Practice, a modular training developed by Antoine Ragot and Kira Kirsch exploring the moving body through anatomy, physics, perception, improvisation, and relationship, drawing on Contact Improvisation, the Axis Syllabus, somatic practices, contemporary dance, and embodied research. Module #3, "Nothing Is Lost" (a three-week summer residency), covers Energy Recycling Systems (receiving, redirecting and returning energy), Bending to the Side (complex spinal manoeuvres), Feet/Hands/Fascial architecture of the torso, The Instrument: Imagined Made Tangible with guest teacher Maya Carroll, Hommage to Care: Embodied Practices of Attention with guest teacher Nita Little, and Cellular Intelligence: Body-Mind Centering(R) with guest teacher Nina Wehnert.
