Part of the 12th season of Movement Artisans - Dance as a Research Practice, a modular training developed by Antoine Ragot and Kira Kirsch exploring the moving body through anatomy, physics, perception, improvisation, and relationship, drawing on Contact Improvisation, the Axis Syllabus, somatic practices, contemporary dance, and embodied research. Module #1, "At the Crossroads," covers Myofascial Slings (connections and transmission across the body), Polyphonic Coordination, Hips/Shoulders, and The Butterfly Effect (from subtle to manifold) with guest teacher Katja Mustonen.
