Movement Artisans is a Berlin-based movement research and education collective led by Kira Kirsch and Antoine Ragot, driven by an ongoing curiosity for movement research, the wonder of the human body, and the art of transmission. Their work integrates contemporary dance, Contact Improvisation, sport science, pedagogy, and somatic communication through the lens of the Axis Syllabus. The collective runs several offerings: a Modular Program in Berlin (an Introductory Module plus four modules including a three-week summer residency, now in its 12th season), a Teach & Research Track for advanced practitioners, online classes and an archive of past material, and an international calendar of workshops and collaborations with guest faculty. Based at Lake Studios Berlin.
