About
Through Contact Improvisation, which he encountered in 2007, new worlds opened up for Stefan Steuer, both inwardly and outwardly. Since then he has learned and grown with many wonderful teachers in Contact Improvisation, dance improvisation, and bodywork, completing the Advanced Teacher Training with Sabine Parzer in 2025. He has led workshops and organized Contact jams in the Allgäu since 2012, and has practiced Nuad since 2020. For him, Contact and dance improvisation, Authentic Movement, Ecosomatics, Somatics, Applied Anatomy, and various forms of bodywork are all fascinating paths to himself, to a deeper understanding of the world, and to greater connectedness — fascinated by the wisdom he discovers in his own physicality and the grounded access to his innermost being through the body. His sources of inspiration and strength are his connection with nature, especially alone and quiet in the forest and by the water, and genuine encounters with people, in dance, with family, and with friends.
