Sonja Paffrath

Music and dance pedagogue, dance educator in cultural education, and coach. Sonja has danced and taught Contact Improvisation and improvised dance theatre for over 20 years, drawn to the connection between the mystery of improvisation and the mystery of life itself. Her work centers on arriving in the body, engaging with the present moment, and expanding the comfort zone through compositional work in space. She studied music and dance pedagogy in Berlin and Vienna, has lived in Augsburg for 20 years working in cultural education and dance mediation, and has co-organized TanzTageTempelhof for 7 years.
