Margaret Sunghe Paek

About

Collaborative dance artist and member of Lower Left Performance Collective since 2000. Her research engages inclusionary methods, ensemble practice, and finding spaciousness in liminality. As a mixed-race performer, maker, educator, and community builder, she is deeply influenced by contact improvisation, Ensemble Thinking™, and Alexander Technique. Co-developing the Ensemble Thinking™ teacher training program with Lower Left. Her work has been presented in Europe, Mexico, and the US, including at Judson Memorial Church and the 2012 Whitney Museum Biennial (NYC). Faculty at Lawrence University Conservatory of Music in Appleton, Wisconsin.
