About

Bassist, composer, and improviser who took up his first instrument in 1994, working across jazz, Eastern music, reggae, ska, punk, and experimental music before earning a diploma in amplified contemporary music. Discovered Contact Improvisation in 2014, which transformed his approach to playing bass and baglama saz. Performs solo (project "iO One Bass Chauv" with loopers and sound objects) and regularly provides live musical accompaniment for Contact Improvisation jams and festivals, improvised dance workshops, and theatre pieces, including collaborations with Asaf Bachrach.
