Julius Rodriguez found Contact Improvisation in 2010 and immediately felt at home. They navigate Contact with creaky knees, back pain, and curiosity about the roads taken and not taken in each dance. Julius' professional background is in teaching, curriculum development, and social justice education, with a Master's in Cultural Studies and a Bachelor's in Gender Studies, as well as a WA certification in trauma-informed care for early childhood educators. They work as an instructional designer and train college professors in adult learning, course design, and facilitation.
