Ebi Soria
About
Multidisciplinary artist, musician, choreographer, actor, and teacher from the Basque Country, Spain. Trained at the Donostia School of Music and Dance and at Taller de Músics in Barcelona, furthering his training in jazz, composition, and arrangement with Spanish and international musicians and artists. Starting in music, he grew increasingly interested in related disciplines including dance, Contact Improvisation, theatre, installation art, audiovisual art, and performance, focusing on improvisation and real-time creation both solo and collectively — training with artists including Lisa Nelson, Jess Curtis, João Fiadeiro, Julyen Hamilton, and Katie Duck. In 2014 founded the company Cia Hiriko Dantza Performance Elkartea, working in movement arts both in teaching and in the social field. Musician for Inmersiones CI Festival.
