About this event

A 7-day residential Contact Improvisation festival in the Karrantza Valley, Bizkaia — set among forests and exuberant nature in the Basque Country, 50 minutes from Bilbao. Created to provide a focused space for the study of CI principles: deepening technique, finding perspective, and drawing on the experience of teachers close to the dance's origins. **Programme:** • 2 intensive teachers (5 sessions × 3.5 hours) — Daniel Lepkoff and Cristina Turdo • 4 class teachers (2.5 hours each) — Asaf Bachrach, Jori Snell, Maria Mora, Paula Zacharias • 27 total hours of instruction • Live music jams **Venue:** Balneario Casa Pallotti — two dance studios (185 m² and 145 m²) with wooden floors, spa pool, and garden. Fully residential: 6 nights with full board (Sunday dinner through Saturday lunch), single/double/triple/quad rooms with private bathrooms. **Price:** €550–700 sliding scale (all accommodation + meals included) + €300 deposit at registration, balance paid in cash at arrival.
