About
Dorte Bjerre Jensen is a dancer/performer, researcher, teacher and organizer, currently affiliated with IMC at Aarhus University. She was introduced to Contact Improvisation in her twenties at the Academy for Music, Dance & Theatre and has been researching, practicing and teaching it for more than 20 years. She holds an MFA in "Dance Partnership" from the Danish National School of Performing Arts, and has trained as a school teacher, yoga teacher, Rosen therapist and Conscious Touch therapist. She teaches contact improvisation nationally and internationally at institutions including DDSKS, Det Kongelige Danske Kunstakademi, Det Kgl. Teater, CORPUS, Skuespillerskolen Ophelia and AKADEMIET, as well as at festivals and open workshops.
