Constanze Villines

About

Constanze Villines has an extensive background in theater and dance, having trained at SVN and Tanzproject in Munich and at The Bosl Stiftung at the Munich Opera. She entered Contact Improvisation in 2009 and quickly expanded her practice to leading labs, facilitating jams, and teaching. She has worked with CI teacher Cyrus Khambatta since 2011, co-organising festivals including the Seattle International Dance Festival (where she served as Program Director), Encontro Internacional de Contato Improvisacao Sao Paulo, and the Port Townsend contact jam. In her professional life she is a film and video producer with a long list of credentials including several 90s films and a PBS children's show.
