About

Alexandra Endaltseva (RU/FR) is a dancer and researcher in the socio-anthropology of the body, health, and food. She has danced since the age of 5, initially trained in Slavic folk dances from Russia, and continued her dance training throughout her academic path, dancing in two Russian companies and training in modern dance, contemporary dance, composition, improvisation, and circus arts. Contact Improvisation holds a special place in her journey; major influences include workshops with Nita Little, Liz Santoro, Pierre Godard, Matthieu Gaudeau, Charlie Morrissey, Katie Duck, Tom Goldhand, and Adrian Russi. Beyond training in Contact Improvisation, she has taught several workshops, including one designed specifically for university students in Toulouse, and served on the board of the Association Initiative Contact Improvisation. For her, the practice combines research approaches from socio-anthropology and dance, creating a relationship to the world attentive to situational care practices.
