A weekend workshop exploring the extended, reaching qualities of the Contact Improvisation dialogue through the theme of falling. Sessions work with extension of the spine, sensing its layers and directional waves while rooting into ground and space; extension of visual-breath, synchronizing the body's inner rhythm with the speed of movement so falling arises from within rather than freezing the body; and extension of role, easing the need to impress a partner in favor of shared, attentive listening.
