About

Sara Trujillo is a creative director, dancer-performer, and facilitator in live arts, specialized in Contemporary Dance and Contact Improvisation. She holds a degree in Fine Arts, with training in dance and social education, and works across creation, teaching, and research. Her path has been shaped by experience in different countries and contexts, exploring the intersections of dance, performance, and community processes, both in the studio and in natural settings. Her practice integrates various somatic and movement disciplines, giving rise to sensitive, inclusive, and accessible proposals centered on listening and care for context. She currently teaches at festivals and projects linked to ecofeminist pedagogy and rural education. At BROTA, she proposes a space of contemplation and silence as the foundation for the practice of Contact Improvisation, fostering a deep connection with the body, the group, and nature.
