Sira Aymerich
About
Born in 2000 in Celrà (Catalonia), she moves between movement and poetry. Trained at La Manufacture – Haute École des Arts de la Scène (Switzerland), La Faktoria Choreographic Center (Spain), CobosMika Seed's Company (Catalonia/Spain) and the Escola Municipal de Dansa de Celrà (Girona). As a creator and performer, she explores territories where dance, objects and words intersect. Her first solo piece, I Felt a Funeral, in my Brain, premiered in Geneva at the C'est déjà demain festival. She has collaborated in co-creations for festivals such as Rereltaló, Espurnes Barroques and Au Parfum (Geneva/CH). She currently accompanies other creators as a tour assistant and external observer, working with Meggie Blankschyn and Jasmin Sisti, while collaborating with filmmaker Jan Marsol.
