Isabelle Guidi

About

Studied Fine Arts at HBK Braunschweig and trained as a movement-theater actress at Scuola Teatro Dimitri (Verscio, CH), with further dance training at Espace Catastrophe in Brussels. Performs with her ensembles duo mirabelle, Theater HERZeigen, and Gekko TanzTheater across German-speaking countries. Also works in dance/theater pedagogy with people of all ages, including intercultural encounter projects and therapeutic contexts. Fell in love with Contact Improvisation in 2002 and explores its interplay with language, voice, Tango (ContacTango), and Body-Mind Centering. Organizes Contact Impro Festival Stuttgart, ContacTango Festival Stuttgart, and Imago-Festival (Ehingen).
