About

Rome-based teacher, dancer, and choreographer with extensive training in Contact Improvisation and multiple movement disciplines. Studied under Jess Curtis, Ray Chung, Simone Forti, and Russell Maliphant, among others. Graduated from l'Officina school in Rome (release technique, Dupuy technique, CI, composition). Lectured on "Pedagogy, C.I. and personal researches on teaching" at University of Rome Roma 3. Recipient of a two-year scholarship at PARTS-ROSAS Dance Company in Brussels. Created "Buongiorno Amore" and "Afroditi," performed at Olympic Theatre and Teatro Greco. Former professor at il Cantiere Teatrale. In 2018, directed the choreography for a staging of Pina Bausch's "Nelken" line in Rome. Co-founder of CORE (association for live performing arts rights in central Italy) and of RomaContact, a Contact Improvisation collective.
