About
Loves dance, its many forms, and its possibilities for movement and expression -- dance is her life's elixir, a source of inspiration and strength. She moves life's questions through dance, carrying deeply embodied answers into other areas of life. Contact Improvisation and Instant Composition fascinate her and form essential elements of her dance practice. After a BA in music- and movement-oriented social work, she studied contemporary dance, improvisation, and performance at bewegungs-art in Freiburg, expanding her somatic-artistic skills in clowning, somatic mediation, and trauma-sensitive holistic bodywork. She went on to deepen her Contact Improvisation practice at international workshops and festivals, and organizes and leads the weekly jams and CI workshops in Karlsruhe.
