Éva Karczag is an independent dance artist from Hungary who develops and teaches explorative dance methods, performing internationally in solo and collaborative works across disciplines including writing, video, music, and visual art. She danced with the Trisha Brown Dance Company (1979-85), was faculty at the European Dance Development Center in Arnhem (1990-2002), and has taught at major colleges, studios, and organizations across the USA, Europe, and Australia. She holds an MFA in Dance Research from Bennington College, Vermont. Her teaching integrates Release Technique and Contact Improvisation, Ideokinesis, the Alexander Technique (ACAT certified teacher), Kinetic Awareness, and Taiji/Qigong. Since 2020 she has expanded her practice to include online teaching.
