About this event
A weekend of contemplative dance, deep play, and contact improvisation at the Berkeley Finnish Hall. Friday evening opens with CI fundamentals and a jam. Damaris Webb leads Deep Play and Contemplative Dance in afternoon and evening sessions. Saturday offers parallel workshops: Body-Mind Centering and CI with Cathie Caraker, and Feldenkrais and CI with Kevin Dockery, plus an extended underscore. Sunday opens with a required orientation talk for first-timers, followed by open social time. Community dinner Friday evening; cafe with snacks, tea, and coffee throughout. Hosted by Sense Object. Work exchange available on request; no drop-ins, one weekend, one fee.
