Theatre performer, set builder, and theatre/dance pedagogue, working professionally in theatre since 1978. Studied social pedagogy with a focus on therapies, and has since worked across theatre, dance, puppetry, and related expressive forms. Currently active with Theater TamBambura (theatre with music) and Living-Contact-Dance, the Contact Improvisation events network in the Stuttgart area, where he leads Musik.Contact.Dance Stuttgart and teaches workshops including INNER CONTACT (on deep experience in contact and dance improvisation), TANZLICHTUNG (contact with nature), and various TANZKÖRPER workshops. Also works as a musician and workshop leader at CI festivals including Contact-Festival-Glarisegg, Forschungsfestival/Tanz-Tage-Tempelhof, various Tänzerdorf e.V. jams, Pacha-Mama-Festival, and Contact-Christmas-Celebration, and offers touch coaching ("Berührungscoach") through Im Herzkontakt. Trained in Stanislavski-based theatre work, Oriental acrobatics and body training (with Johannes Vardar), movement improvisation (with Frits Tummers, a dancer with Carolyn Carlson/Paris), and theatre training under Teresa Nawrot (Teatr Laboratorium/Grotowski lineage) and Gualberto Mayans (ISTA, Eugenio Barba). Organizer, festival director, and workshop leader for Living Contact Dance Festival.
