Living Contact Dance Festival 2026 — 8th Edition August 20–23, 2026 Hof Ruckhardtshausen, Hohenlohe, Baden-Württemberg, Germany A dance festival in nature near Stuttgart, Heidelberg, Würzburg, and Nürnberg, themed "Tanzen mit der Natur" (Dancing with Nature). The festival focuses on dance and Contact Improvisation with workshops, jams, labs, and performances — nearly all held outdoors under open sky, with covered spaces available for rain or strong sun. Emphasizes expanding physical and creative abilities, openness to emotional healing spaces, deepened perception of sensuality, and authentic interpersonal communication through movement. Workshops offered: INNER CONTACT (deep experience in contact and dance improvisation), TANZLICHTUNG (contact with nature), and various TANZKÖRPER sessions. Team: Matthias Störr leads organization, festival direction, and workshops; Johannes Anzenhofer, Rafia Sieglin, and Rotraut Wagner lead further workshops and activities. The festival takes place at a farm venue (Hof Ruckhardtshausen) in the Hohenlohe region, offering a retreat-like atmosphere away from everyday life, with a long tradition of community-building dance events.
