Adriana Belbussi
About
Dancer, performer, creator, researcher, and teacher, graduated from Uruguay's National School of Dance (Ballet Division) in 1985. Has worked with artists in Brazil, Ecuador, Peru, the Netherlands, and Uruguay, and received the Justino Zavala Muñiz artistic creation grant (Level III) from Uruguay's Ministry of Education and Culture in 2014. Taught Contemporary Dance and Ballet at Espacio de Desarrollo Armónico (EDA) in Montevideo alongside Graciela Figueroa, cited as a formative teacher by multiple Uruguayan dancers who trained there. Collaborated with director Mariana Marchesano on "Turbonada" (presented at Uruguay's International Contemporary Dance Festival, FIDCU) and on "Armar un fuego a sabiendas de la lluvia" at CAMPO. Led the free opening workshop "Cuerpo, motivaciones, deseos, urgencias" at Festival Jamaso in Montevideo.
