CI Intensive in Auvergne

About this event

Contact Improvisation intensive led by Didier Silhol and Cléo Laigret, with dancer Dalila Zarama (Colombia) and musician Claire Marchal (flute), supported by CI Partage. CI is the foundation of the teaching — embodiment, warm-ups and intensive classes during the day, jams and performances in the evening. This year the focus turns toward play and performance; mornings open with Dalila, and Claire may surprise everyone musically. Daily rhythm: open practice/yoga/meditation from 8:30, breakfast at 9h, workshop 9:30–11:00, lunch at 13h, workshop 14:00–17:30, evening jams/performances. Everyone helps with daily life tasks (a cook is present; cleaning shared in small groups). Dates: arrival Tue July 7, 6 workshop days (8,9,10,12,13,14 — July 11 is a rest day), departure Wed July 15; full-period attendance required. Venue is isolated but accessible, 820m altitude, ~15 min from Massiac station, ~20 min from Brioude station. Accommodation is basic: new attic floor, new bathroom with hot water, barn floor space, ~10 mattresses available, tents welcome — bring your own mattress/sleeping bag.
