Finding the Sparkle CI Intensive

About this event

Six-day Contact Improvisation intensive at Ponderosa², a dance residency in Lunow-Stolzenhagen, Brandenburg, one hour from Berlin. Taught by Sarah Young (USA) and Angela-Mara Florant (Germany), with guest teacher Saliq Savage for Body-Mind Centering®. The programme explores momentum, gravity, weight-sharing, rolling, spiraling, and falling, incorporating Feldenkrais Method®, Contemplative Dance Practice, and Body-Mind Centering®. Evenings include jams, group scores, CI history, and an Underscore with live music. A weekend-only option (Jul 17–19) is also available. Accommodation (shared dormitory or tent), breakfast, and two cooked vegetarian/vegan meals per day are included. Scholarships and work-exchange opportunities available.
