About the community

This group has been set up with the intention of creating and maintaining a well wanted presence of CI in Dubai. We welcome existing dancers, new movers and everybody in-between to join the sessions so that we can all move together. We are a community who is holding a space open to share what we know with those who want to exchange. In doing this together, we are co-creating a movement research project in which the individual and the collective can ask what questions they pose in their dance. Questions can be ongoing and reoccurring, like the dance of life. For each session we ask that the fee for hiring the space is split each between all people that turn up to dance, we are estimating it to be 30 AED based on 10 people, but also if that is not suitable for certain people we can discuss. We would love to host international teachers to help build the scene here, strengthen our practices and enable the global CI network to expand.
