About the community

ContactImprovBKK currently is curated by C3 Artistic Hub, a dance artist duo of Ong Pholchai (Spine Party Movement) and Zoe Yu-Chien Cheng (Inch Dance). We represent a meeting point for CI community worldwide to connect with local Bangkok and Thai dance communities. Operated under the same CI philosophy of openness, self-inquiry, inclusive, non-hierarchical embodied practices, we aim to meet the contemporary needs for human connection, communal care, and cultural integration through the art form of Contact Improvisation. We hold regular weekly jams, some workshops, artist-led art residency and experimental performance showcases.
