About the venue

Espai de Circ is the home of the Associació Valenciana de Circ, a circus training and creation space in Alboraya on the northern edge of Valencia. The association was founded in 2003, moved to Alboraya in 2009 and into a 1000 m2 facility there in 2014. It runs training, creation residencies, social circus projects and performances, with open training hours through the week and open doors on Fridays. Alongside the circus programme it regularly hosts Contact Improvisation workshops and jams, many of them led by Miguel Horacio of Espai de Contact.
