Senior Lecturer at the University of Bedfordshire, working in dance and somatic education. Has practiced Contact Improvisation since 1996; holds an MFA in Choreography and a PhD in Dance examining ecological perspectives on choreography in the context of environmental change. Integrates Contact Improvisation with studies in Body-Mind Centering, developmental movement, and somatics. Has taught and performed at Earthdance, the Nordic New Year Jam, Contact Improvisation's 36th Birthday celebration, Manchester Contact Improvisation, and Nott Dance, among others. Writes for Contact Quarterly, Choreographic Research Journal, and the Journal of Dance and Somatic Practices, where she serves on the editorial board.
