Steven Homsher

About

Encountered Contact Improvisation three decades ago, following earlier training in gymnastics, aerial dance, and martial arts. Studied with numerous first- and second-generation CI teachers, particularly influenced by Chris Aiken, Nita Little, and Nancy Stark Smith. A professional visual artist, he brings that sensibility into movement practice, emphasizing curiosity and meticulous attention. Teaches collaboratively with his wife Gretchen Spiro.
