About
Péter Lipka is a Budapest-based actor, dancer, Contact Improvisation teacher and dance and art therapist. He led the Kontakt Budapest Stúdió from 2012 to 2017. He trained as an actor at the Szeged National Theatre studio (1996-97) and the New Theatre studio in Budapest (1997-98), completed sociotherapy group leader training at Tündérhegy (1999-2001), studied at the ELTE Bárczi Gusztáv special education college (2000-2004), and completed Contact Improvisation teacher training in 2006-07, followed by training as a Gyrokinesis trainer (2007) and in dance therapy (2010) and yoga (2011). As a performer he was a member of the Artus contemporary dance theatre company from 2001 to 2007, appearing in productions including Einstein's Dreams, Osiris Reports, The Snow Queen, Retina, Don Quixote Mausoleum and Stelé.
