About
Interdisciplinary artist based in Tijuana, Mexico, where she co-founded the contemporary dance company Péndulo Cero in 2007 and has served as Co-Artistic Director, teacher, dancer, and choreographer since. Co-director (with Briseida López and Jess Humphrey) of Portal, a binational Mexico-US collective for scenic research integrating somatic methodologies, improvisation, and collaborative creation. Also creates Creatura, a participatory choreographic project with Briseida López weaving together somatics, dance, and philosophy. Graduate of the Professional School of Contemporary Dance of Mazatlán, with a background in Industrial and Systems Engineering and a master's in Marine Biology (UNAM). Previously co-founder, co-director, and dancer of the Chilean-Mexican company Hunabkú Danza (2003-2006).
