About

Marina Sans grew up on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea — someone likely born to be aquatic. Before devoting herself fully to somatics in water, her work involved directing documentaries in anthropology and sociology, spending long periods with tribes in the Amazon and Africa, where she deepened her connection to nature and ancestral wisdom. After training in Watsu, Aguahara, Butoh dance, and other aquatic therapy techniques, she created Liquid Cosmos (Somatic Education for Aquatic Bodywork). Each of her sessions is unique, shaped by her reading of the person receiving it — a subtle and precise sense for the body's needs developed over years of practice, alongside an ongoing, evolving research into anatomy. She dedicates most of her time to giving sessions at LiquidZome and training new therapists around the world, continuing to discover more about human beings, and herself, through that sharing of knowledge.
