Maria Montseny

About

Dancer, choreographer and teacher based in Catalonia. Trained in contemporary dance at the Theater Institute and La Caldera in Barcelona, and at the SNDO (School for New Dance Development) in Amsterdam. Specializes in Body Weather, trained with Min Tanaka (Japan), Hisako Horikawa, Franco van de Ven and Andrés Corchero. Has studied improvisation and composition with Lisa Nelson, María Muñoz, Julyen Hamilton, Susan Rethorst and Joao Fiadeiro. Performs with the companies Danat Danza and Raravis (Andrés Corchero–Rosa Muñoz) and develops independent creative work. Dedicated to teaching Body Weather technique, conscious movement and creative movement.
