Beginning as a non-conformist upside-down chair user and persistently wiggly infant, Luc hones a consistent passion to explore movement and kinaesthesia in its many curious forms. Through studies in philosophy and a variety of embodiment practices (Contact Improv, Tai Chi, Capoeira, Soft Acrobatics, Fire Spinning, Yoga and more), a keen interest in emergent flow and deep inner/outer connection blossomed and continues to bloom in his/their research. As a result, their work and play often revolves around connection with nature as connection with self and the moment, an emergent re-wilding strategy deeply linked with anti-performative, non-productivist, de-colonial intuitive umph. Facilitating Contact Improv as well as a variety of other re-wilding workshops and events since 2016 around Ireland and internationally, Luc sees embodiment work as a vital medium for cultural curation and transformation. He also performs, solo and in collaboration with others, and has been part of Pitch'd Circus & Street Arts Festival, Electric Picnic, Fuinneamh, Circus Factory Cork, Rewild Festival and Hidden Hearth.
