Independent dance artist, actor, vocalist, and teacher based in New York, exploring improvisation as process and performance since 1981. A second-generation CI practitioner, she studied with Steve Paxton, Nancy Stark Smith, Daniel Lepkoff, and Lisa Nelson, and has helped define contemporary improvisational and somatic practices internationally. Faculty at NYU's Experimental Theatre Wing since 2001 and at Movement Research since 1986. Also a certified yoga teacher and Ayurvedic Holistic Health Counselor.
