Julián Elizari Romeo

About

Born in Buenos Aires in 1974, Julián studied Martha Graham technique, contemporary dance, release technique, and Contact Improvisation, alongside training in Argentine tango under Pepito Avellaneda and Pupi Castello. His path has spanned Europe — studying at the Lilia Bertelli school in Florence, working with theatre companies, and participating in Contact Improvisation festivals across Poland, Germany, and Italy. Now based in Berlin, he teaches both Tango and Contact Improvisation, often blending the two as Contactango at local jams and festivals, including the International Festival of Contact & Tango Wuppertal.
