Joey Lehrer

Joey Lehrer has been dancing as far back as he can remember. He is an improvisational performance artist and teacher with over 2.5 decades of Contact Improvisation experience — a respected teacher, writer, and performer of the form, having taught and performed extensively across Australia as well as in New Zealand, Malaysia, Germany, and the United States. He is one half of the artist duo Two For Now, with Emily Bowman, who research, teach, and perform Contact Improvisation. He enjoys creating a sense of playful focus, a space for exploration and fun where improvisation does not get lost in concepts or skill.
