About

Dancer, performer and teacher based in Madrid. Trained first in theatre before moving into dance, studying contemporary, classical, performance, contact improvisation and acrobatics in schools across Buenos Aires, Madrid and London, with teachers including Cristiane Boullosa, Diana Bonilla, David Zambrano, Daniel Abreu, Elena Córdoba, Francesc Bravo, Mey-Ling Bisogno and Lucio Baglivo. Teaches contemporary dance and contact improvisation, and has taught at El Horno, Escuela Mayor de Danza, Espacio en Blanco and Estudio Ágora. Co-founder of the performing arts company A pie de guerra, formed in 2014 with dancer and cellist Marina Barba to evoke episodes of European history through the stage. Earlier work includes the solos Pensé en tristeza (2011) and Uff tristeza (2014), and the company Tierra de Caínes, co-founded in 2010 for the piece Fijaciones. Part of the self-managed social centre La Tabacalera, within the Molino Rojo performing arts collective, where he worked in programming and rehearsals and created a cycle of dance and music improvisation in 2014.
