Claire Luiten

About

Claire Luiten has been dancing since childhood, training in schools in New Zealand and Europe before performing on many stages. For years she has been rebuilding and reexploring her original love of her body moving through space, with others — notably a dance partner of ten years, Rachel Ruchstuhl-Mann. She also found a place in the landscapes and energies of Craniosacral Therapy. Her CI teaching draws on principles and scores, dreaming and breathing — a practice delicately balanced between technique and imagination, working with what emerges from the collective intelligence of moving bodies.
