Céline Auclair

About

Céline Auclair trained and holds a diploma in contemporary dance; her practice draws on diverse influences including Contact Improvisation, somatic practices, butoh, and hypnosis. Passionate about the relationship of the body to space and about improvisation practices in dance, she takes part in several site-specific creation projects and performances in public space. She currently teaches contemporary dance and Contact Improvisation in various public and community structures, practices Ericksonian hypnosis, and develops her own choreographic projects at the crossroads of her practices and both artistic and pedagogical concerns.
