Hanna Barn is a renovated dance barn at 7712 Point Robinson Rd on Maury Island, near Vashon Island, Washington — opened in 1994 by dancer and CI teacher Joan Hanna. The intimate scale and quiet, natural setting create a contemplative environment well-suited to somatic movement practice. Joan Hanna has taught and hosted Contact Improvisation since the mid-1980s, and the barn continues to host multi-day CI retreats and intensives.
