Viktória Makra

Hungarian contemporary artist, Contact Improvisation teacher, performer, theatre director and puppeteer, based in Portugal. Born in Budapest, she trained at Kreativ Movement Studio, Budapest Dance School and Essen Folkwang Schule before completing her BA and MA at the Budapest Contemporary Dance Academy. Since 2016 she has brought Contact Improvisation and performing arts to rural communities and equality centers through projects such as Con-Tacto and Danza entre Mujeres, drawing on physical theatre, somatic techniques, Axis Syllabus and Flying Low. She has taught and performed across the Balkans, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Italy, Portugal, Dubai, Armenia, Egypt and Iran.
