She trained as a dancer in contemporary dance and Contact Improvisation at Moving Art Freiburg (1997-1999) and completed a 1600-hour Alexander Technique teacher training at ZAYT Freiburg (2000-2003), running a private practice since 2003. She studied intensively with Nancy Stark Smith; among her other teachers are Kirstie Simson, Daniel Lepkoff, Scott Wells, Jörg Haßmann, Nina Wehnert, Yaniv Mintzer, Friederike Tröscher and Christine Mauch. Her teaching brings Alexander Technique principles into Contact Improvisation, working with balance, weight-sharing and the quality of contact towards a dancing that is powerful and relaxed at the same time. She taught at Alanus University from 2009 to 2016 and organises CI jams and workshops in Germany and abroad.
