About

Japanese performer bridging mime, Butoh, and experimental movement. Trained in Art Mime at the Japan Art Mime Society, Tokyo, under JIDAI (2008-2010), then at Teatr Sztuki Mimu in Warsaw under Stefan Niedziałkowski, performing with his company (2010-2012), before training in Butoh at the Kazuo Ohno Dance Studio in Yokohama under Yoshito Ohno (2012-2017). His solo work, "Bokutoh KI - Dance TANTAN", emerges through improvisation rather than set choreography. Co-runs Galerie ame, a workshop/performance/residency space in Tokyo, together with Mutsumi Kimura, with whom he has performed as the duo MutsumiNeiro since 2012.
