About
Mercè Nebot (Barcelona-Provence-Avignon) has been passionate about dance and movement for over 15 years, with a particular interest in free, spontaneous dance centered on the art of improvisation. She discovered Contact Improvisation around ten years ago, an encounter that deeply shaped her path. Since 2024 she has taught Contact Improvisation and co-organizes the Contact Improvisation Festival en Provence, now in its thirteenth edition. Trained in Wutao (a contemporary Taoist-influenced body art) and in the Danser Être Dansé practice with Véronique Pioch, she now leads free-dance and Wutao workshops and enjoys creating spaces for bodily expression and exploration. She is committed to sharing her love of dance and the joy of free movement, unburdened by self-imposed limits and conditioning, in order to fully inhabit the present moment.
