Mathilde Monfreux

About

Mathilde Monfreux is a choreographer and performer whose work combines performance, improvisation, and site-specific writing, deeply informed by Contact Improvisation and somatic methods. She founded Cie des Corps Parlants, develops modular compositional systems built on real-time composition and relational dialogue with performers and audiences, and has collaborated extensively with circus and visual artists. Principal teacher at the "Au bout du monde" summer festival in Plouguerneau, Brittany, organised by L'œil et la main.
