Athens-based choreographer and Contact Improvisation teacher who discovered CI in 1980, began practicing in 1984, and started teaching in 1989. Trained formally in dance, studying with choreographers in New York and San Francisco, before founding his own dance company. In 1988, co-founded the Wrong Movement (Lathos Kinisi) Dance Studio with dancer Titi Antonopoulou, which grew into a collective space for CI teaching, jams, performances, and concerts. Introduced disability-centered dance practice to Greece, and created choreographic works for professional dancers, amateurs, elderly people, children, and refugees, performed in venues ranging from mainstream Greek stages to refugee housing complexes, hospitals, and old prison cells. Organized the European Contact Improvisation Teachers Exchange (ECITE) in Athens in both 1993 and 2004. During Greece's 2008 civil unrest, taught a CI class titled "Touch the Cop" to around 200 people inside the occupied Athens Opera House.
