Gianni Penna

About

Dancer, teacher, and creator from Uruguay, now based in Barcelona. A graduate of the SODRE National Dance School (contemporary dance division), he has practiced and researched Contact Improvisation since 2011 with national and international teachers. Works and performs together with Catalina Lans. Co-organizes and teaches at Festival Jamaso in Montevideo, Uruguay, alongside Josefina Díaz, Rosina Porto, and Maxi Sonderegger. Also active in tango, and has taught and performed across Uruguay, Argentina, Brazil, Spain, Germany, Portugal, and Croatia.
